Abandoned Call
An abandoned call is a call that is disconnected by the caller before they reach an operator. Abandoned calls can include calls that are not answered by an automated attendant or an agent. Abandoned calls are also referred to as lost calls. There are numerous reasons that calls are disconnected by the callers leading to abandoned calls.
