Glossary Base Staff

Base Staff

The Base Staff consists of the minimum amount of workers required to provide service during a given period. This takes into account that agents will be in their seats ready to take calls during that time. Breaks and other non-work factors are not factored into Base Staff numbers.

AnswerConnect employs a scheduling structure based on price packages. We schedule our Base Staff using the anticipated number of calls, which is based in turn on the pricing plans selected by our clients.
