Delay Announcement

A Delay Announcement is a recording that asks callers to wait for the next available operator. The recording typically asks the caller to have their information ready. Callers are also given alternatives to holding for an operator.

Delay announcements are rarely used at AnswerConnect. Our goal is to answer every call immediately. However, there may be times during high call volume that a delay announcement may be used.
