Glossary Handled Call

Handled Call

A handled call is a call that has come into the call center that an operator has answered. Handled calls do not include abandoned calls, calls that received a busy signal, or calls where the caller has disconnected the call. A handled call can also be a call that is answered by something other than a live operator. For example, calls that are answered by an IVR, voicemail, or an auto-greeting are considered handled calls.

At AnswerConnect, calls are typically handled by operators. We do offer call handling via voicemail boxes or an automated greeting system as well.
