T-1
T-1 refers to high speed connections used for both telecommunications and internet. For phone lines, this includes a 4-wire circuit that can handle up to 24 audio channels. Usually the term is used with DS-1, although they are not exactly the same. DS-1 refers to the medium, not the connection.
