Let us know which telephone number you'd like transferred and your current fax number.
Send us Page 1 & 2 of your phone bill. This page should include your name, company name, and account number with your current provider.
We will fax you a transfer form that you will need to sign and fax back to our Client Services team.
Then, we do the rest.
The transfer process usually takes 3-7 business days to complete and can be done while we're setting up your account.
Your current phone service provider may refer to this process as RespOrg transer.
The term RespOrg is short for "Responsible Organization," and indicates an entity authorized to control toll free traffic through the national toll free database. With your transfer, AnswerConnect's telco termination providers become the Responsible Organization for your company by simply exchanging paperwork with your current toll-free carrier to direct the termination of your toll free traffic to our available trunk lines. We then act as the carrier for your existing Toll Free Number. Normally your telephony charges are included in your per minute service contracts so you no longer have to pay your toll-free bill.
