Deforestation is one of the biggest environmental challenges we face today, threatening ecosystems, wildlife, and the planet\u2019s ability to regulate carbon. Ancient trees, like the coastal redwoods and giant sequoias, are some of our planet\u2019s most vital resources in the fight against climate change. Yet, these majestic trees are disappearing at an alarming rate, with over 98% of old-growth redwood forests already lost. \u00b9<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every month, we plant a tree<\/a> for every customer and team member. With their continued support, we contribute to global reforestation and ecosystem restoration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we want to do more. So, we are partnering with pioneering individuals and organizations fighting to restore and protect our forests across the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introducing Archangel Ancient Tree Archive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To kick off this year\u2019s partnerships, we\u2019re excited to join forces with David Milarch, co-founder of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive<\/a> (AATA). David\u2019s mission is to clone and replant the world\u2019s most ancient and vital trees. These trees have stood for thousands of years, and are essential for maintaining healthy ecosystems, but they\u2019re at risk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a life-changing near-death experience in 1991, David has been on a mission to propagate the genetics of ancient trees, creating \u201cliving libraries\u201d of these giants and reforesting areas worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
