This highlights the potential leads, sales, and customer opportunities businesses could be missing by not being available to support callers around the clock with a real person there to answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For customers, there&#8217;s a meaningful difference between reaching a voicemail or automated system, and speaking to a real person who can listen, understand what they need, and help them in the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Almost half of calls to businesses happen after hours<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>AnswerConnect&#8217;s data shows that <strong>47% of calls occur after hours and on weekends<\/strong>.
