If you have a temporary change<\/strong> to your account, you can notify our receptionists with a note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Receptionist Note?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A Receptionist Note is a short message that appears at the top of your script for a limited time. It\u2019s useful for one-off closures or changes – for example, if your office is closed for a company event or due to extreme weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can include your custom message and set the date and time you\u2019d like it to expire. When that time comes, the note will automatically disappear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note: A Receptionist note is informational only<\/em>. Our receptionists will read it and relay the message to your callers where appropriate, but it will not change your call routing, script, or message delivery.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, if your note says you\u2019re closed for the day, but your script says to forward service calls to Bob, we\u2019ll still follow the script and send those calls to Bob.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to set a Receptionist Note<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to the AnswerConnect app<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Tap Settings<\/strong> in the main menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select the Account<\/strong> you want to leave a note for<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select Receptionist Note<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Type your note and set an expiration date and time<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Tap Save<\/strong>

    Your status update will display in your script until the expiration time you selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Select the Call Flow<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n
