Do I need a ServiceMinder account?

Yes. You'll need an active ServiceMinder account and an AnswerConnect account.

What information is transferred?

When your AnswerConnect receptionist takes a message, the caller’s name, address, phone number, detailed call notes, and any other relevant fields from your custom AnswerConnect script are sent to ServiceMinder as a new contact or updated against an existing contact in your CRM. If a caller books an appointment, the client's details, as well as the date, time, location, and event type, are captured in your CRM and booked directly into your calendar.

Does data sync both ways?

When updating your contact list with caller information or creating new contacts, the sync is one-way: from AnswerConnect to ServiceMinder. This applies to booked appointments as well.

Do I need to set up the integration for both CRM updates and appointments to make it work?

The CRM sync and appointment booking features can be set up independently or you can enable them both. It’s up to you to decide.
