If you have a temporary change to your account, you can notify our receptionists with a note.
A Note to Receptionist is a short message that appears at the top of your script for a limited time. It’s useful for one-off closures or changes – for example, if your office is closed for a company event or due to extreme weather.
You can include your custom message and set the date and time you’d like it to expire. When that time comes, the note will automatically disappear.
Please note: A Note to Receptionist is informational only. Our receptionists will read it and relay the message to your callers where appropriate, but it will not change your call routing, script, or message delivery.
For example, if your note says you’re closed for the day, but your script says to forward service calls to Bob, we’ll still follow the script and send those calls to Bob.
How to set a Note to Receptionist
- Log in to the AnswerConnect app
- Tap Settings in the main menu
- Select Note for Receptionist
- Type your note and set an expiration date and time
- Tap Save
Your status update will display in your script until the expiration time you selected.
