Need to update your number or adjust who calls are transferred to? This article walks you through updating your number, updating a team member’s number, changing call transfer recipients, and editing your on-call calendar.
Update your number
To update your phone number, simply:
- Log in to your AnswerConnect app
- Go to the Settings tab
- Click Your profile
- Click the edit icon at the top right of the screen

- Enter your new phone number

Update a team member’s number
Only owners and admins are able to update a team member’s number. To update an existing phone number of a team member, you can:
- Log in to your AnswerConnect app
- Go to the Settings tab
- Click Your team
- Press the name of the team member you’d like to make the update to
- Click the edit icon at the top right of the screen

- Enter the new phone number

How to change who calls are transferred to
This setting must be updated by our Client Services team. Please contact us, and we’ll update your live answering script to ensure calls continue transferring smoothly.

Update your on-call schedule
If you need to update who your receptionist contacts when a call comes in, you can make changes directly in the AnswerConnect app. For those who have different staff on duty at different times and would like to have calls transferred accordingly, follow this helpful guide to make amendments.
