You’ll be charged before the end of your billing cycle if your account reaches $100 or more in overage charges.
When this happens, we’ll automatically charge the payment method you have on file with us for the overage amount only (not your regular monthly plan amount), even if it’s in the middle of the billing period.
Your card will be charged at the end of the day that your overage charges exceed $100. If your overage balance remains below $100, it will simply be included on your next invoice.
Overage charges are billed for minutes used beyond your monthly plan allowance. Increased usage can happen for a variety of reasons, including seasonal demand, marketing campaigns, or other fluctuations in call volume.
Usage notifications
To help you stay aware of your usage, we’ll send email notifications when you reach:
- 80% of your monthly minutes
- 100% of your monthly minutes
These notifications can help you anticipate potential overage charges before your next invoice.
Monitor your usage
You can monitor your live answering plan usage directly in the AnswerConnect app:
- Log into the AnswerConnect app
- Select Settings in the left navigation bar
- Click Billing & Reports
- Press Reports (next to Billing at the top of the page)
- Here, you’ll see a snapshot of your current usage
