To add live chat to your website for your virtual receptionists to answer chats on your behalf:

  1. Go to the AnswerConnect App
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select Live Chat from the left sidebar
  4. Click Activate
  5. A client service representative will contact you within 24 hours via the telephone number you provided upon signup.
  6. The client service representative will give you a demo of the live chat feature, provide instructions on how to add live chat and then assist with installation.

If you don’t answer: we’ll email your special code to the email address you provided upon signup with instructions to add the code to the back end of your website. The email will include an appointment booking link. Click the link and schedule an appointment with our client services team at a time that suits you.

To add live chat to your website to answer chats yourself:

  1. Go to the AnswerConnect App
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select Live Chat from the left sidebar
  4. Click Activate
  5. You will receive your special code via email with instructions to add the code to the back end of your website

Note: To activate Live Chat, you need to have a website.
