Born and raised in Chicago, Letty now lives and works in El Paso. “I like the smaller towns,” she says. After starting out as a bilingual CX Specialist, taking calls in English and Spanish from her home office, Letty is now part of a sales team, following up on leads. This work gives her a chance to see how some of our prospective clients are currently having their phones answered—and sometimes, she says, it’s not pretty. “No matter who’s calling in, you have to be professional, willing to help, and upbeat,” she says.

In her new role, Letty uses Distributed Source, the Customer Relationship Management system we developed in-house. “It’s a great, great system,” she says. She draws on her background as an English teacher to correct any typos she comes across in the records. “If something’s broken, I want to fix it,” she says.

Outside of work, Letty also tries to help others. With a group from her church, she volunteers in a food pantry and helps local seniors with yard work or home repairs. Her son, Hector, also works for AnswerConnect (that’s him with Letty in the photo above). And she’s already referred a friend to work with us as well. She appreciates the stress reduction that comes from working at home and avoiding long commutes. “I recommend it to everybody,” she says, “especially friends who have children.”
