New Charges Breakdown

In this section, you can see:

  • Recurring Charges: This is your monthly plan plus any add-on features you have.
  • Excess Usage Charges: Here, any overage charges you have for the current billing period will appear.
  • Adjustments: Any adjustments that have been made to your invoice will appear here. Scroll to the adjustments section of your invoice for more information.

Recurring Charges

In this section, you can see the amount you pay each month for your live answering plan, along with any add-ons you may have purchased. For example, if you’ve added additional features such as a Business Phone Number, HIPAA compliance, Call Transcriptions, or IVR to your account, you’ll see them here.

If you see a charge you don’t recognize, contact our Client Services Team and we’ll be happy to help (details below).

Usage Details

Here, you can see a breakdown of the number of calls our live receptionists handled during the invoice period, along with the number of minutes used.

If you have any subaccounts, you’ll also be able to see the breakdown for each account here. At the bottom of this section, you can see the total minutes used and the minutes included in your plan.

If you consistently see a significant gap between these two figures, you may want to discuss whether you are on the right answering plan with your Client Account Manager.

Adjustments

Any adjustments that have been made to your invoice will be reflected in this section. Adjustments can include any discounts applied to your plan or added credits. Credits could be added to your account for a variety of reasons, including referrals.

Fees

In this section, you will see any Fees you may have encountered. This will include your waived setup fee. When we waive the setup fee, it still appears on your invoice. However, there should be a corresponding credit (of the same amount) to cancel that charge.

Payments and Refunds

This section shows your previous payments and refunds prior to the invoice period.

  • Under the ‘Description’ column, you will see the previous payment date.
  • Under the ‘Payment Note’ column, you will see the purpose of the payment.
